Digital
Advertising in Blue Mountains means nothing if you don't understand ways to use
your Call to Actions or (CTA's), because a Call to action may be the easiest
way for you to make a lead. It can make or break relying on how weak or strong
your CTA is, and so I would like to give you a few tips to make sure that you
are doing the best you can to grow your brand and create those necessary leads.
Wording
Really easy,
stay clear from generic words that are going to make you seem desperate or like
you are pushing for a sale. For example, choosing between the words, 'buy' and
'shop' as a CTA, one might think that they both mean the same thing. But you
should understand that many people on the net have the tendency to avoid
commitment, therefore subconsciously even there is a habit for customers to
think that the term 'buy' is closing them into something, while 'shop' is a way
for them to learn more facts. The point I am aiming to make is that you really
must think of the wording and avoid words that have unplanned consequences.
Shape and Colour
It may seem
weird, but Shape and colour of your CTA can affect its success. In the world of
Digital Advertising there have been a lot of investigations into the idea of
layout and its affect upon a customer's perception, and essentially one theory
claims that curves are the most effective way to go. So, if you intend to try
and optimise even more, think about making the button for your call to action curved,
rather than a rectangle.
Now, colour,
this is a further area that there are a few theories on. Some people would have
you believe that green is wonderful because it indicates 'go', but to keep away
from red because it is 'stop', or that blue is calming so it should make people
more relaxed ... Ultimately there really isn't any clear evidence to suggest
one option over some other, so just choose what works best for your style. One
point that I will mention though is that you should be aware of the font size
and colour-- If you want your digital advertising to be most effective in the
Blue Mountains area, it is a great idea to try and make it different from the
rest of your content, but don't go too wild.
Location
Where your call
to action is placed is quite crucial to digital advertising growth.
All that I
suggest by this is see to it that you don't have it stashed in a corner
somewhere, or that you have way too much text that is complicating the Call to
action.
In the long run
it all comes down to identifying the combination that works for you, remember
your wording, shape, colour, size and positioning of your brand's Call To
Action, and when you bring all the elements together just think practical and
think about your customer.
